This Makes Me Smile Photo Birthday Card

My sister’s birthday was a couple of weeks ago. Since I couldn’t be with her, I decided to make her a special photo card, so that at least we were together on the card! 🙂

She loves gold, so I used one of DCWV’s stacks, Gilded Paper. I tied in some gold glitter tape, I believe from American Crafts.

That fabulous feather vellum paper is from CTMH’s Free to be Me paper pack that was available in May. I hope you stocked up on that paper…I love it all! I couldn’t find my vellum adhesive anywhere, so unfortunately you can kind of see my adhesive under the vellum. I’d better get some more vellum adhesive because I plan to use this paper again and again!

The cute stamp is from a CTMH hostess-only stamp set called Enjoy the Little Things. It is one stamp, but I inked it in 2 colors. First I was careful to put Pacifica ink on only the text part, then stamped it. Then I cleaned it well and inked up only the arrows in Smoothie ink and stamped them. Since the stamps are clear it was easy to line it up!

If you host a party or place an order of $150, you can get this stamp set for only $6!! Let me know if you are going to do that so I can set it up for you!

Here’s the whole set…

Happy stamping!
