Harlin’s Coral, Gold & Seafoam Green {What’s in a Frame}

Hello!

Today I have another {What’s in a Frame} to share with you. This is for my friend’s beautiful baby girl. Her nursery is in these gorgeous colors of coral, seafoam green, gold, and white.

I simply adore the gold glitter! The letters were cut on double-sided sticky paper at 1″ with my most-used Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I then stuck the back of each letter onto a white square and sprinkled with glitter. I pushed the glitter into the sticky paper with my finger to give it a strong hold, then tapped off the excess. As you know, glitter likes to leave stragglers…so I used a small paintbrush to wipe away anything that was left.

The glitter banners were cut from glitter tape, so there was no mess! I also used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the flowers.

How do you make your own glitter paper? With glitter tape! I didn’t have gold glitter paper so I lined a small piece of cardstock with gold glitter tape then loaded it into my Cricut. I set the blade to cut a little deeper and it did the trick! Since I used the flower on the bottom layer, you can’t see the lines of tape.

The small wooden butterflies and heart are from CTMH’s Trinkets wooden shapes…I love this collection. It has fun arrows, birds, and flowers too. I’m using them in my Picture My Life (Project Life) pages and they are great fillers! They take to inking very well, too, so you can change the colors.
