Day 1 of 31 Days of Christmas Cards | Stencil, Distress Oxides & Pastes

Hello! I am so excited to welcome you to Day 1 of the “31 Days of Christmas” Video collaboration. You are in for a treat this month – all of us in The Creative Design Team are taking turns sharing Christmas cards every single day in October.

I get to kick off the month today and will be sharing a video and blog post every Thursday. Let’s get right into my projects!

Here’s a look at the cards I created. (Keep scrolling for the video.)

Stencil Christmas Cards

Here’s my video showing how I created both of these cards.

Details

For my Christmas cards, I focused on using just 1 stencil, some Distress Oxide inks, and pastes to create Christmas Cards with very different looks – and of course, a lot of sparkle. One uses more traditional colors using a variation of Joseph’s Coat technique and the other is non-traditional colors with an irresistible glittery finish.

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Be sure to watch my video to see how I achieved these looks with some tips along the way.
