For today’s scrapbook layout I’m sharing how I documented Mother’s Day photos using a birthday-themed paper pack – but no cakes on this layout! I used the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday suite, which is definitely fun for birthday layouts, but there are also many gorgeous flowers that work for other themes. Of course the gold foiling stole my heart.
But I had to pair the floral paper with something from another paper pack – I went through several options before deciding and included the decision process in my video.

We go to to this spot for Mother’s Day every year, I just love it! It’s called Acreage and it is a restaurant and cider house with a great outdoor space that has incredible mountain views. My kids usually love coming here because there’s lots of space to run around and they love the snacks. But for some reason my daughter had a bad attitude about being there…ah, preteens! Anyways, I included a photo of her being a stinker because that was part of the day. Do you include the bad with the good in your layouts?
