Mixing Pocket Scrapbook Cards: Backyard Picture My Life (Project Life) Layout

Hello!
Today I have another scrapbook page to show you. This time it’s a Picture my Life (Project Life) pocket page. I mostly used the new Love Your Selfie PML cards on this layout. But our cards are so versatile – the bottom right sunburst card is from an older Surf’s Up PML card kit. It is a 4×6 card, but I used it as a background for my 4×4 photo.

I usually add my embellishments to the outside of the page protectors when I use pocket pages. I like to see everything in its place before embellishing, plus then I have more freedom: I can overlap pockets instead of keeping it confined to just what’s in one pocket.

The “Sweet” sentiment is a cut from the CTMH’s latest Cricut cartridge, Artistry. I used DCWV silver glitter paper. The sequins are self-stick – and the Coral Reef sequins that I used just so happen to be on CLEARANCE!

I like to mix regular 12×12 pages with pocket pages…they can go side-by-side and look great together! The pocket pages are just a tad bit larger because of the extra stitching, but it’s hardly noticeable.

I’ll be sharing a photo of a 2-page layout soon where one side is classic 12×12 and one page is pocket pages 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have any questions.
