I am learning that you really can’t go wrong with any of the cards on the
Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I pretty much knew that already because all of CTMH’s Cricut cartridges ROCK my socks off, but I just had to say it out loud. Or in writing.
I love arrows. And chevron. And sequins. And glitter. This card has it all. And it’s quick to create. Major plus!
Our CTMH glitter paper comes with 3 sheets per package…same color in different hues. So it makes it easy to get a cool ombre effect for this card!
I used the
Black and Gray glitter paper pack and cut skinny strips. Then I adhered them with glue dots and adhesive tape to the inside of the card. (Glue dots stick well to the glitter.) By the way, our glitter paper is awesome…it’s really thick and cuts like butter on the Cricut!
I used our new
Paper Fundamentals cardstock, which has a solid color on one side with a UV coating pattern in it. And the other side has the same pattern in the color + white.
Makes for a cool look on the inside. I could have kept the pattern showing on the inside but I wanted to cover up the back of the glitter paper strips. So I cut slightly smaller panels for the inside of the card, showing some of the pattern around the edges.
Here’s the card in the handbook, it’s on page 36. Notice that it tells you what size to cut it out…so handy 🙂 I love that I don’t have to think about what size to set my Expression at. You can always cut it bigger if you want, but the proportions of the design were made for it to be a standard A2 size – 4.25″ x 5.5″.
