The Best Moms… Bracket Frame Using Artiste Cricut Cartridge

Hello my crafty friends,

Today I am sharing a super fun bracket frame project I made for my mom. I found this quote when I was pregnant and knew I wanted to use it on gifts for my mom and mother-in-law.

These bracket frames from CTMH are really fun to decorate. They’re a 1″ shadowbox so you can do all sorts of fun dimensional stuff with them. I made a similar one as a wedding gift HERE (that post includes a tutorial on how I secured the back and put it all together).

The flowers are from the Artiste Cricut cartridge in a couple shades of hot pink/magenta. My mom has some magenta accents in her house. (Can you tell my family loves color?!)

I used the awesome burlap ribbon around the inside of the frame. Since the ribbon is 1.5″ wide, I cut it in half lengthwise. I used the finished side for the part showing and hot glued the cut side to the inside of the frame, ruffling as I went. (Careful of the hot glue through the holes!)

The sentiment is printed onto Colonial White cardstock from my printer. I played around with fonts in my design program and then got the color, size, and spacing just right before printing. I mounted it onto a 6″x6″ DCWV Cork sheet. The paper around the frame is from Basic Grey.

I ended up adding a magenta ribbon hanger after photographing. She has it hanging on a hook in her craft room. 🙂

This item is now available in my Etsy shop!

Thanks for visiting, have a wonderful day!
