I have been working on my Stories I Love album, which is the latest kit from Stacy Julian in partnership with Close to my Heart.
I can’t express to you how much I love this kit and the idea behind it. It makes scrapbooking more approachable for so many reasons.
- You have “permission” to document your photos out of order.
- The kit includes everything you need to complete your stories plus an album and cover pages.
- The simple format keeps the focus on the story so you don’t get caught up with the design, embellishments, etc.
I think it will speak for itself to an extent once you see how detailed my journaling is. I am so happy to have this whole story documented and the workbook in the kit really helped me pull out additional details around this photo.

I love that the sketch for AHSC was very simple this week, because it lends itself well to this simple form of scrapbooking. I used it as a jumping off point for this page.
