Blog Hop: “Working Hard” Half Marathon Scrapbook Page

Hello there!
It’s time for another blog hop with my Blog Hops With Heart girls! This month’s theme is “Working Hard or Hardly Working.” I chose to go with “Working Hard.”
This past spring my hubby participated in his first half marathon with a group of friends. They all worked VERY hard to train for it and complete it…and he finished even with a hurt knee. I am so proud of him! I created this page to document his efforts.

The title of my page came from the shirts they had made. He and his group of friends all work for the University of Oregon Athletics and the new football coach, Willie Taggart, had recently been announced. One of Coach Taggart’s sayings is “Have a great day…if you want to!” So they had shirts made that said “Have a great half” on the front and “if you want to” on the back. I thought that was very clever 🙂

The “run” die-cut is from Scrap Your Trip. I squealed a little bit when I found the YOU ARE AWESOME paper in my stash. It’s from a paper pad, I think either from MAMBI or DCWV.

Love this pic of my daughter walking with him after the race 🙂

I hope you enjoyed my scrapbook page, thanks for stopping by!
Next on the hop is Katy. Be sure to hop all the way through for some truly amazing inspiration. I tell ya, I’m so lucky to be amid such talent!
I have been posting new videos to my YouTube channel so be sure to check it out and Subscribe! I started a new “Scrapbook Walk-Through series where I go thru my scrapbooks page-by-page so you can see them close-up. Here’s the playlist for it.
Have a great day!
