Blog Hop With HEART: Sibling Love Layouts

Hello there!

Yay, I am finally participating in the Blog Hops With Heart again this month….”A Blog Hop with Heart(s).” This month we’re featuring…you guessed it…HEARTS!

Today I have TWO layouts to share. One is a traditional 12″ x 12″ scrapbook layout, and one is a pocket page layout. Here’s a sneak peek before we get into the rest…

I have been using lots of hearts in my recent layouts. My little guy, Tyler, was born in March and I’ve finally been catching up on some scrapping. Every photo melts my heart, especially with the two of these kiddos together. Kailyn absolutely adores her “baby brudder.”

This first 12×12 traditional layout uses some scrapbook paper and coordinating puffy stickers that were actually Father’s Day-themed, but they worked perfectly here. I forget the brand.

The “I adore you” title is puffy stickers from I want to say Heidi Swapp, but could be Teresa Collins. Love them. I also mixed in some CTMH puffy heart stickers. Here are some closer looks…

Now for the 12″ x 12″ pocket scrapbook. I had lots of vertical photos that I had snapped on my iphone so I used Close to my Heart’s pocket page protectors in Design 1. I like using pocket scrapbooking when I have lots of photos that don’t necessarily go together. These photos were all from the first month but at random times. But they all show how much these two love each other.

The gold and black glitter chipboard pieces are from CTMH’s You & Me Complements.

The pocket cards are a mix of CTMH Picture my Life and some Becky Higgins Project Life. I also used some CTMH Overlays in black (like the “love this” below), which are now retired but on CLEARANCE right now! So are the Beautiful You pocket cards. They overlays still come in white and gold/silver.

I love that I can put these pocket scrapbook pages in the same album alongside my traditional pages. There is about a 1/8 (or less) size difference but you can’t even tell. CTMH has tons of pocket variations, and I swear these protectors are the best quality out there. I LOVE them, it’s all I’ll use for 12×12 and pocket scrapbooking. Check them out.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Next up in the hop is the very talented Katy Taylor!
