Blog Hop: 4 Artfully Sent + Artiste Cricut Cards

Hello, and welcome to the Blog Hops with Heart blog hop featuring die cuts! We have a VERY talented group of ladies participating, I am honored to be among them. You should have come from Amy’s blog, but this is hop goes in a circle so you can just keep moving forward ๐Ÿ™‚ Sit back and enjoy!
Today I am sharing FOUR cards that I made using my favorite Cricut cartridge: Artfully Sent, with some sentiments from the Artiste cartridge
I have been MIA from my blog lately…wanna see what I’ve been up to? Ok…
Tyler was born on 3/28, 2 weeks early. Proud mommy just had to share a couple of pics ๐Ÿ™‚ Big sis is in LOVE too!
Now back to our regularly scheduled cards…
I LOVE how easy it is to make cards with the Artfully Sent cartridge. Each card base is just ONE cut! Add some paper behind the cutouts, a few embellishments, and ba-da-boom, a fancy yet easy-to-make card that is sure to impress!
These first 3 cards couldn’t be easier. I simply added one patterned paper behind the card base. (Paper for all cards was from a special last year, Year>>Noted.) I then added black sentiments that were cut from the Artiste cartridge, then embellished. I love how the black really pops on this paper even though there’s no black in the color scheme.
Card #1:

TIP: Save time and paper by cutting out a bunch of sentiments at once to keep on hand! I added different sentiments in Cricut Design Space from “happy birthday” to “thanks” to “congrats” and made sure they all fit and made the best use of one piece of 12×12 paper. I cut them on black cardstock since it will go with almost any card. Now I have a sentiment whenever I need one!

Card #2:
Another simple one – just backed with one patterned paper and a few embellishments.
TIP: Save the stars that are cut out from the base!

Card #3:
This card re-uses some of the stars that were cut out of the previous card base! I have a little 3-drawer Sterilite organizer within reach on my craft desk where I keep Cricut cuts like these.

The “enjoy” sentiment was cut out of the Picture my Life (Project Life) card that is also on the Artfully Sent cartridge. A few sparkles and this card is finished.

Card #4:
This last card is still just 1 Cricut cut for the base, but I backed the cutouts with 3 different papers. I thought this design would work well with some glitter paper. I’m all about the sparkle!

Here is a look at 3 of the cards again. (Not sure why the 4th didn’t make it in the pic!) I hope you enjoyed!

I am wrapping up this hop but it’s a circle…so if you missed the beginning head over to Amie Kiger’s blog!
