Mother’s Day Flower Pot Card

Mother’s Day will be here before we know it, so I dug into my “best of” archives to share this fun flower pot card with you today. This doesn’t have to be just for Mother’s Day, though, it is perfect for any time!

I made this special card for my mom 3 years ago, using THIS tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. I adapted it to work with more flowers and added more layers.

The flowers lift out of the pot to reveal your message.

I chose some fancy embellishments which made it pretty top-heavy, so be sure you’re working with heavy cardstock-weight paper like CTMH’s, and you may want some extra layers for reinforcement.

I used 3 different flower cuts from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge in various sizes. I just love that cartridge…it has everything!

The paper I used is from CTMH’s retired Stella Paper pack. One of the things I love most about CTMH is how everything coordinates perfectly. Our paper packs each have 6 different coordinating patterns and you can get matching embellishments as well!

Here are some of CTMH’s current paper and accessory options that would be beautiful for this type of card.

that can be torn out and used as regular paper!)
