Pink, Purple & Glittery Princess Baby Girl Initial Monogram

I don’t think I could have gotten this letter more girly if I tried…and that’s what Sandra wanted when she ordered it from me!

I LOVE creating these monogram initial letters. They are 12″ paper mache letters. The first one I ever made was for my baby Kailyn’s nursery, and since posting, I’ve been asked to have it published in Cricut’s Home Décor magazine (for an issue coming this summer), plus my Etsy shop has kept me busy with custom orders for it. *blush* So…I have lots of them to share down the road.

All of the letters I have made showcase those gorgeous 3D flowers as the focal point (from the Art Philosophy cartridge). But Sandra wanted it extra girly…a princess crown, butterflies, and lots of bling and glitter! I even tucked some feathers in there. So fun!

I cut the butterflies and a crown out of silver glitter paper with my Cricut. The butterflies are also on the Art Philosophy cartridge and the crown is on the Artiste cartridge.

Here’s a close-up of those glittery butterflies. I used DCWV glitter paper. It’s a brighter & finer glitter grain than CTMH’s glitter paper (which I also LOVE). The rhinestone swirls are from CTMH’s Clear Sparkles Flourishes. I LOVE these. They are a good value and they are easy to cut if you just need a portion of the flourish for your project. They also keep their form well as you’re applying. I got another brand of flourishes and it was nearly impossible to apply them to my project because they were flopping all over!

I also used purple DCWV glitter paper on the sides and the polka dot paper on the front is from Doodlebug. It’s the perfect BRIGHT shade of pink!

Here’s what it looks like hanging in her soon-to-be-born baby girl’s nursery 🙂

I’d love to hear what you think!

Thanks for looking!
