Flashback Friday: Teacher Appreciation Gift

Hello, and happy FRIDAY!!! I don’t know about you, but this has been a long week, and I am very excited that the weekend is just around the corner.

Your kids are probably already finished with school, but for those of you who may need a last-minute little teacher gift, this might help! I made this flashback project last year for Teacher Appreciation Week.

This little pillow box was made using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (page 28) and is the perfect size for a little treat. I also made a matching 3″ x 3″ card with the same layered flower, both use the retired Dream Pop paper…I just love these bright colors!

The flowers were also cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge. (If you have a Cricut, it’s a must-have cartridge for sure!)  I had just used some burlap ribbon for a different project, so I used some of the fibers I pulled from it to wrap around the pillow box for added texture.

I inked the edges of the flowers in Archival Ink first for the pillow box, but I didn’t really like it, so I left them plain for the card. I used a pearl badge button (retired) for the flower centers.

Have a wonderful weekend!
