Kids Shaker Valentines for Kindergarten Class | How-To Video

Hello!

I am so excited to share my five-year-old daughter’s class valentines with you. She had a BLAST making these. All weekend whenever we had down time at home she said “Mommy, can we work on my valentines?”

I’ll be honest, I cringed and held my breath many times while she worked with glitter and sequins. When we were finished, there were sequins all over the floor under her. And glitter all over the desk. But nothing a little vacuuming and baby wipes can’t handle, right? She had a blast, that’s what’s important. Although I did inform her we aren’t going to work with glitter for a while. LOL.

Here is a video where I explained how we made these shakers and included some process clips of my daughter and I working on them. (Click over to YouTube to watch in HD.) There are more photos below the video.

If you enjoy papercrafting videos, I’d love if you subscribe to my channel! I add new videos 1-3 times per week, mostly card and scrapbook process videos.

This project doesn’t just have to be for kids! You can use these instructions to make something yourself. But if you have kids who love to craft, they are sure to love making these shaker valentines!
