Getting ahead on my personal Christmas crafting is not usually in my vocabulary. But lately my 5yo daughter has loved to craft with me, so I try to come up with things we can make together.

We put all of the snowflakes out in front of us and just layered away! Most of these have been in my stash forever…some are thin chipboard snowflakes from Hobby Lobby, there are some wooden veneer doily shapes (some were colored with Copic markers), plastic and paper glittery snowflakes, tinsel snowflakes from previous years’ gift tags that I saved, chipboard stickers, and more. I wanted to start with a sturdy base layer so that these would last as ornaments after the gift is opened.
